Extraction

If dental decay is left untreated it will spread to the tooth’s pulp or nerve causing an infection and pain. To then treat the pain, a patient may elect to have root canal to remove the infected nerve within the tooth or an extraction.

Our office also offers wisdom tooth removal with conscious sedation. Wisdom teeth may erupt at odd angles causing pain or damage to other teeth in the mouth. They can also cause a painful condition called Pericoronitis which is an infection around the gum surrounding the wisdom tooth. At this point it is recommended that they be removed.
